Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Riverside (“City”) is seeking a qualified entity(s) or individual(s) (“Consultant”) to provide a software tool that can manage the Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) Tree Power Program. This energy savings program has been offered for over 20 years to the rate payers of RPU and distributes approximately 12,000 trees annually by issuing a coupon on the back of the bill during Spring. RPU is seeking, via this RFP, a software tool that will manage all data associated with the RPU Tree Power Program such as, but not limited to: customer verification, tree selection, optimal planting location via GIS and provides an individualized voucher that participants may redeem at participating nurseries. Selected software tool must be able to provide annual program kWh saving to RPU and must be available in multiple languages and different formats. Additionally, software must be able to be accessed by RPU internally and externally by customers of RPU and participating nurseries in order the manage program. As responsible stewards of the environment, The City of Riverside Public Utilities requests for proposals seeking innovative, forward-thinking, eco-friendly, and sustainable approaches. This includes considerations such as resource conservation, waste reduction, recyclability, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and pollutant releases. RPU is looking for businesses that can help us advance our sustainability agenda with innovative proposals. Each proposal should include a narrative of the sustainability practices of its company such as, but not limited printing on 100% recycled paper, utilizing online meetings, and using Adobe Signature for all documents and of those that are expected to be implemented for the proposed scope of work.
