Specifications include, but are not limited to: UC San Diego Health is soliciting proposals for Courier Services. These services will include, but not be limited to, the following courier service categories: bonded, operational, and pharmacy. UC San Diego Health (UCSDH) requires in city/county “last mile” courier services for two main medical center locations (La Jolla and Hillcrest), as well as 40 or more additional locations (clinics, labs, administrative buildings). The items that need to be couriered are consistent with a large healthcare provider (specimens, mail, sterile and soiled medical instruments, medical supplies, cash, etc.). The Health system's objective is to form a long-term relationship with a problem-solving supplier that will assist the Health System meet its goals.
