Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a vendor to provide window and solar panel cleaning services at various City facilities/locations. Please note that proposals should include the costs related to the Civic Arts Plaza (Including the Kavli Theatre) and the accessible roof-top solar panels located at 401 and 403 W. Hillcrest Drive only. All other locations Cost of Services will be completed under negotiated pricing with the selected vendor. The additional locations and approximate service requirements are provided for reference in Attachment B. Civic Arts Plaza cleaning includes: A. Monthly cleaning of inside and outside surface of perimeter windows 10 times per year as stated on the Cost of Services (Form B), per the mandatory pre-proposal conference and referenced by call-outs on Elevations/Sections Sheets 1, 2, 7, 8, & 11 found in Attachment A. B. Total cleaning of inside and outside surface of perimeter windows two (2) times per year as stated on the Cost of Services (Form B), per the mandatory pre-proposal conference and reference Elevations/Sections Sheets 1-14 found in Attachment A. Solar Panel Cleaning at 401 and 403 W. Hillcrest Drive: A. Total cleaning of accessible roof-top solar panels two (2) times per year as stated on the Cost of Services (Form B). The panels are located on the roof/former parking deck of the buildings and are directly accessible from the main parking level. This area will not be visited during the mandatory pre-proposal conference but can be viewed at any time during regular business hours, prior to the RFP/Q submittal deadline. Note that solar panels are sensitive to heat and Service Provider will be responsible for cleaning in a way that does not cause cracking or damage from rapid temperature fluctuation.
