All Proposals need to be responsive to the Town’s request. The Town will take into consideration the qualifications of the consultant, as well as the cost of the service.
The request for proposals does not require the Town to grant a contract to any specific consultant or to have the selected consultant complete the project. We reserve the right to cancel the agreement if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. There is no obligation of the Town to reimburse respondents for any expenses that are incurred in preparation of a proposal in response to the Town’s Request for Proposals (RFP), including any expenses that are incurred due to participation in this process.
The Town will not give verbal answers to clarifications regarding information in this RFP, or verbal instructions prior to the submission deadline. All clarifications should be submitted in writing. The Town is not liable for any increase in costs resulting from the Consultant accepting verbal instructions. Any clarification’s requested by the Consultant must be requested of the Town representative in writing, no later than 5:00 PM on December 16, 2024. The original signed proposal, as well as three (3) duplicates need to be submitted in a secured package with both the name of the Consultant and Proposal for the Comprehensive Fee and Development Impact Fee Study marked on the package. If submitted electronically, Consultant shall submit file in PDF format. Electronic copies can be emailed to Amber Darling at adarling@applevalley,org. The Proposal shall be received by the Finance Department of the Town of Apple Valley by 5:00pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025, for the proposal to be considered.
