The Project generally consists of providing necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the removal of existing striping, application of Type II Microsurfacing, and replacing thermoplastic striping on various streets within the Town of Apple Valley as specified in the Technical Specifications and as directed by the Town Engineer. Work on the Project shall be completed within 45 Working Days. The anticipated award date is July 11, 2023. A Notice of Award will be issued on July 12, 2023, and a Notice to Proceed may be issued within 10 days of the Notice of Award. Two segments identified on the attached segments list and map shall be completed no later than August 4, 2023 to avoid conflicts with school traffic.

The Town of Apple Valley (“Town”) will receive sealed bids for the Microsurface 2023 (“Project”) at the office of the Town Clerk no later than June 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at which time or thereafter bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) Working Days after the bid opening date.
