Description

The Project generally consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials for the furnishing and installation of eight (8) new ballfield backstops at various park locations as noted in Exhibit A. The Contractor will be responsible for all demolition, footing removal, haul away and disposal of existing materials. Delivery of materials, sitework, and construction of eight (8) new backstops will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Submittals must include signed and stamped plans by a California Registered Civil Engineer. Work on the Project shall be completed within 35 working days, and work must be completed no later than August 30, 2024. The projected award date is June 25, 2024. There will be a pre-construction meeting on or about June 27, 2024, and mobilization shall occur on or about July 10, 2024.

The Town of Apple Valley (“Town”) will receive sealed bids for the Multi-Park Backstop Project (“Project”) at the office of the Town Clerk no later than June 6, 2024, at 10:00am PST, at which time or thereafter bids will be opened and read aloud in the Town Hall Council Chambers. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) Working Days after the bid opening date.
