Accessibility Statement

Bidnet Direct is fully committed to accessibility. We commit to make any reasonable modifications to policies, practices, and procedures to ensure our programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities and to ensure nondiscrimination against persons with disabilities.

Design Philosophy

We believe that changes being made to improve accessibility of the tool are positive changes for all users and, as such, have no plans to include any accessibility-specific features such as overlays. Instead, the website is designed to work with screen readers, magnifiers, and other tools supporting accessibility needs.

Website Validation

We have endeavored to achieve AA accessibility as measured against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). While we have not yet achieved full compliance with all guidelines, we continue to get closer with every product release and expect to be fully compliant by the end of 2024. We scan our website with every release using PowerMapper SortSite to identify any places where we may not be fully meeting accessibility standards. However, we are also aware that a scanning tool such as this is not perfect and always welcome feedback or recommendations for improving our product's accessibility. Remediation of any newly identified non-conformances (due to changing guidelines, etc.) is generally completed within six months of the finding but could be completed sooner depending on the severity of the identified issue.

If the non- conformance is impacting your ability to navigate or use the website, our support team will be happy to assist you in the use of the website prior to remediation of the issue.

VPAT

A new VPAT is created with every version of the software and can always be provided on request. Please contact our support team at support@bidnet.com to request the newest version.
