Adams County currently hosts one electrical vehicles charging station at the County Government Center, and desires to install three additional stations at County facilities in order to expand the local charging station network. This effort is in line with and supportive of achieving the County’s 2030 Sustainability goals related to reductions in the consumption of fuel for County fleet and employee travel. The County has received funding from the Regional Air Quality Council to support the purchase and installation of the desired stations, and as such the County desires charging stations that can provide high levels of data and metrics related to station use, specifically ChargePoint brand charging stations. The County intends to install one charging station at the Adams County Government Center at 4430 South Adams County Parkway, Brighton, CO 80601, and two charging stations at the Adams County Sheriff Headquarters, located at 332 N 19th Street in Brighton, CO 80601. The station at the Government Center and one station at the Sheriff Headquarters are intended to be available for public use. The second station at the Sheriff Headquarters is intended for internal employee use for the County fleet vehicles. This project includes the provision and the installation of the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) unit.
