A Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is solicited by the Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) to prepare the Auraria Campus Master Plan for future facilities that will address institutional space needs as well as identify public/private development opportunities. The plan outlook should focus on a ten-year horizon, while also exploring themes that could impact the campus beyond ten years. The plan will be student focused, community supported, sustainably rooted, financially achievable, and centered on education, activation, and innovation. AHEC believes this can best be accomplished by a team composed of a professional planning and design firm supported by a visionary public/private development consultant(s) along with other subject matter experts as outlined in the Consultant Team section below. The ideal team will have extensive experience in higher education planning and public/private ventures with local and national expertise.
