The Auraria Campus (Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC), Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver) is about to embark on a new Master Plan process. Before we issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select an Architecture/Planning firm to lead the process, the Master Plan Steering Committee (MPSC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to seek input from community participants and subject matter experts who would like to help us imagine the future opportunities for the campus and its three institutions of higher education.
The Master Plan Steering Committee will synthesize the feedback into a report that will inform the details of the Request for Qualifications document and will become part of the materials issued to the firms who will compete for the project.
If you are interested in participating in the feedback process, please respond to this RFI and we will work with you to see if we can schedule you in one of the upcoming feedback sessions. Alternatively, if participation in a session is not possible, AHEC will be issuing a survey to capture feedback from those who are unable to attend in person. This process is seeking to collect unbiased, external feedback about the future development of the campus. We are asking you to represent your perspective as a community member and not necessarily as part of any firm or business that may eventually respond to the Request for Qualifications. This is intended to be an open and fun dialogue to develop initial ideas to help us craft the RFQ document.
