Summary of Specifications:
Contractor is to perform an Environmental Investigation that will include records review, electromagnetic (EM) and ground penetrating radar (GPR) surveys, utility clearance and a subsurface investigation to identify the extent and boundaries of what is believed to be former landfilling activities and assess soil and ground water conditions in the area of the landfill compared to regulatory standards. Prior to performing any field investigative actions, the contractor is required to develop a Health and Safety Plan including utility clearance procedures for public and private utilities to clear specific boring locations.
NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE & Job Walk will be held May 18, 2016, 2:00 pm at the site, located at 1288 Alaska Avenue, Longmont, CO 80501.
All inquiries regarding this RFP shall be submitted via email to the Boulder County Purchasing Office at purchasing@bouldercounty.org on or before 10:00 a.m. May 19, 2016. A response from the County to all inquiries shall be posted and sent via email no later than May 23, 2016.
