Summary of Specifications:
The Boulder County Transportation Department is seeking bids for the East County Line Road/WCR #1 (ECLR/WCR #1) Bridge Replacement over the St. Vrain River. The proposed bridge will be 270’ long (3-90’ spans). This bridge has been designed using accelerated bridge construction (ABC) methods. Work for this project includes the fabrication of bridge pre-cast items including: 1) abutments, 2) pier caps, 3) wingwalls, 4) approach slabs, 5) sleeper slabs, and 6) prestressed concrete box Girders (depth 35”). Time will be of the essence on this project, with the pre-fabricated members needing to be delivered starting in mid-August 2014.
Specifications and a sample contract with FHWA requirements are attached. The successful proposer shall execute the attached requirements as part of any contract with the county, and comply with all FHWA requirements set forth therein.
