Description

The Town of Jamestown’s (Town) James Creek irrigation ditch headgate and the first 380 feet of conveyance pipe was destroyed during the September 2013 flood. Reconstruction using best construction practices has been approved by FEMA as follows in this ITB. The reconstruction of this permanent structure is a Category G FEMA reconstruction project.
The Town of Jamestown is seeking bids from qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in heavy earthwork construction. By means of this Invitation to Bid (ITB), the Town is seeking a contractor to construct the Jamestown Town Square (FEMA Category G permanent repairs).
The Contractor should be prepared to coordinate with adjacent property owners during the use of the narrow public road access and be respectful of private property when working on this project, especially within approved temporary construction easements.

A mandatory pre-bid and site walk will be held at the Jamestown Town Hall at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time, August 28. 2107. Interested parties will meet at the Jamestown Town Hall at 118 Main St., Jamestown, CO 80455.
Please arrive promptly James Canyon Road, leading to Jamestown is under construction and subject to delay. All interested parties must have an employee of their firm sign-in and attend the mandatory pre-bid and site walk meeting.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): For your safety, attendees shall wear closed-toed shoes.
