Summary:
Boulder County Parks and Open Space has a continual need for containerized native plant materials for ongoing grant and non-grant related restoration projects. The county is requesting solicitations from qualified vendors, nurseries, and /or native plant growers to raise and provide local ecotypic native plant materials, or those who have the capacity to grow larger quantities of native plants for upcoming ecological restoration projects throughout Boulder County open space properties. Boulder County anticipates contracting with several nurseries and/or growers to grow native plant material in a variety of sizes and types for future projects. The focus is on species that are unavailable in the commercial nursery trade or that are unique locally adapted ecotypes.
