RFQ-071-24 - Vacuum Truck Waste Management Facility Design

Boulder County Public Works is seeking engineering consultants who specialize in Vacuum Truck and Street Sweeper dump facility or transfer station designs. Public Works is in need of a facility, that meets all local and state code requirements for stormwater quality, for processing the waste water and solids generated from road maintenance activities. We have a site identified that has the infrastructure necessary to support this operation. Please submit your qualifications within the documents requested. Our team of reviewers will select at least three (3) consultants from this RFQ process to issue formal request for proposals (RFP), which will detail the specifics of the site. The final deliverable of the awarded consultant through the RFP will be a permittable for construction set with all required specifications and structural calculations. Your submissions through this RFQ process should outline your experience designing these systems, references to show how well they operate and their maintainability, as well as your expertise working with Colorado local and state permitting agencies.
