NPSS1 2025000188 - Advanced Technology LLC - Notice of Proposed Sole Source

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) states herein it’s belief that Advanced Technology LLC is the only source to procure specifically formulated laundry and wash ware chemicals as per our specifications. These specially blended chemical formulas are owned by Advanced Technology and not available to purchase from another supplier. The current dispensing equipment installed throughout CDOC facilities are the proprietary property of Advanced Technology LLC installed and invested at their expense, which includes security cabinets specifically designed for correctional environments. Replacement of this equipment would require undue and substantial expenses to CDOC and would create delays that interrupt the daily operations of the sanitation programs at all of CDOC facility kitchens and laundry units. Regular services such as: on site delivery, pick up of empty drums, dispensing equipment and cabinet maintenance, further reduces the cost to CDOC as they are currently provided by Advanced Technology LLC. The chemical knowledge and expertise provided by Advanced Technology LLC is invaluable and tailored specifically for CDOC’s sanitation programs, providing a 4-6% reduction is cost which cannot be acquired from other sources.

This Notice of Proposed Sole Source has been published to allow any prospective competitors or other interested parties to submit comments and/or an objection to the determination that Advanced Technology LLC is the sole source from which to purchase laundry and wash ware chemicals per our specifications without disrupting operations for CDOC sanitation program. Any such comments or objections concerning the purchasing from this proposed sole source vendor, must be submitted through bidnetdirect.com//cdoc
