NPSS 1 2025000184 - Prentice Hall dba Pearson Education - Sole Source Notice

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) states herein its belief that only one source, Prentice Hall dba Pearson Education, is the exclusive source to obtain course and testing “voucher” Access Codes for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). This proprietary testing system is specifically designed to allow secure proctoring and delivery of testing access for multiple trade craft certifications. The only authorized source established by Colorado Department of Education for offenders to receive trade accreditation certifications is through NCCER, and Prentice Hall/Pearson Education is the only partnered source where the “vouchers” can be purchased for the course and testing access.

This Notice of Proposed Sole Source has been published to allow any prospective competitors or other interested parties to submit comments and/or an objection to the determination that Prentice Hall dba Pearson Education is the sole source from which to purchase the necessary “voucher” access code for NCCER.
