RFP-2016-7 - 2016 Asphalt Paving Projects

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Central seeks bids from responsible, qualified firms to perform two (2) paving projects on within City right-of-way. The first project includes the placement of 5-inches of hot-mix asphalt on a newly constructed on-ramp from Virginia Canyon Road to the Central City Parkway. This ramp is approximately 426 feet long and 20 feet wide. The first project also includes the placement of 5 inches hot-mix asphalt on a newly constructed off-ramp from the Central City Parkway to Gold Mountain Road. This ramp is approximately 100 feet long and 60 feet wide. The Bid Documents titled Central City Parkway Access Improvements prepared by JVA, Inc. and consisting of five (5) sheets, are attached to this RFP and incorporated by reference. The second project consists of a 2-inch rotomill and overlay on Gregory Street from Main Street east to D Street. This bid should reflect approximately 700 square feet of full depth patching. The Contractor shall provide all necessary traffic control related to the two projects.
