Cherry Creek School District (CCSD) requires the replacement of all detection and associated cabling that is part of the existing Simplex 4100ES fire alarm system at Thunder Ridge Middle School. The District’s expectation is that the system will be a turnkey solution. All required peripheral work, including the removal of the existing system, and design of the installation will be identified and priced in the proposal and will be procured and managed by the contractor. The contractor is responsible for restoring the building to the existing condition by covering unused boxes, replacing ceiling tiles and drywall patch and repair as necessary. The existing system must be kept fully operational during the installation. The new system will be comprised of new cabling, conduit, and detection devices per NFPA and CCSD Standards The contractor will be responsible for supplying man lifts and daily clean-up. To achieve final acceptance, the contractor will have provided full installation of all components, tested and verified a fully functional system, documentation of AHJ acceptance, training for programming, daily use, troubleshooting and periodic maintenance requirements, turned over as-built drawings of the project as well as all Owner’s manuals and warranty documents.
