Cherry Creek School District (CCSD) requires the replacement of the notification portion of the fire alarm systems at Cherry Hills Village Elementary and Eastridge Elementary. The District’s expectation is that the system will be a turnkey solution. All required peripheral work, including the removal of the existing system and design of the installation, will be identified and priced in the proposal and will be procured and managed by the contractor. The contractor is responsible for restoring the buildings to their existing condition by covering unused boxes, replacing ceiling tiles, and drywall patch and repair as necessary. The existing systems must be kept fully operational during the installation. The new systems will be comprised of new cabling and conventional voice evacuation per NFPA and CCSD standards. Addressable notification is not acceptable at this time. The existing fire alarm systems are Simplex. The contractor will be responsible for supplying man lifts and daily clean-up. To achieve final acceptance, the contractor will have provided full installation of all components, tested and verified a fully functional system, documentation of AHJ acceptance, training for programming, daily use, troubleshooting and periodic maintenance requirements, turned over as-built drawings of the project as well as all Owner’s manuals and warranty documents.
