Summary of Specifications:
The City and County of Broomfield (City), State of Colorado, will accept Bids to award a Contract or Contracts for Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Abatement and Removal of Structures at 3661 and 4075 West 120th Avenue until 10 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011, at the Central Records Department in the City and County Building. The Work is described in the Specifications and elsewhere in the Contract Documents. It includes, but is not limited to the abatement of hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead paint, household hazardous waste, and possibly lighting that contains PCBs and/or mercury. Work also includes the demolition of two residences that were most recently used as office buildings, and one detached garage, together with all incidentals and miscellaneous items necessary to do the Work.
