Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to purchase an Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICPOES) to replace the Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer currently in use in the Environmental Lab. This procurement will enable lab personnel to provide more precise and efficient metals analyses of samples from Safe Drinking Water Act sites, drinking water consumer concerns, Industrial Pretreatment permitted locations, local streams, reclaimed wastewater processes and local stormwater retention ponds. Since the ICPOES is ‘new’ technology for current laboratory personnel, ease of use, local technical support, and enhanced training resources are highly valued.
