The Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE) is looking to hire an evaluation consultant who will oversee the yearly evaluation of the Food in Communities (FIC) program. This consultant will enhance the existing comprehensive evaluation plan and collaborate with FIC to refine tools for collecting qualitative and quantitative data, such as the FIC Policy, Systems, and Environment (PSE) change continuum, as well as instruments to gauge the effectiveness of engagement with food systems collaborators. The consultant will take charge of year-end data analysis and the creation of a concise year-end report which highlights findings and offers recommendations. Additionally, the evaluation contractor will provide suggestions to help the FIC team incorporate anti-racist evaluation practices and principles throughout all stages of evaluation, encompassing design, data collection, analysis, synthesis, and the sharing of evaluation outcomes. The assessment of the FIC program will culminate in an annual evaluation report, which will be delivered to the program core team by the evaluation contractor.
