Respondents seeking the role of Hearing Officer must have prior experience in municipal tax law cases and/or experience serving as a Hearing Officer.

The awarded consultant must be an attorney licensed to practice in Colorado. In addition, preference is given to an attorney with experience in municipal law, particularly regarding sales and use tax with preference to an attorney with experience as a hearing officer in excise cases.
