Summary of Specifications:
The City and County of Denver, hereinafter referred to as the City, desires to solicit proposals relating to the curb and alley collection of large appliances from eligible households. The City is dedicated to environmentally sound waste management with a focus on high quality customer service, recycling, and diversion. In procuring the services described in this RFP, the City seeks to provide high quality public services that are convenient for the residents. In addition, the City seeks to provide services that improve the appearance of the City streets, provide for the safe reclamation, recovery, and reuse of refrigerant materials, increase recycling of metals, and help citizens decrease the amount of solid waste sent to landfills
