Utility 13-08 - Contractual Building Inspection Services

Summary of Specifications:
Due to the amount of construction activity within the jurisdiction of the City of Arvada, a contractor is needed to supplement staff with field inspections in accordance with the Arvada City Code for the disciplines of structural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical building permits. The Contractor shall supply professional Building Inspection personnel to perform a variety of building inspection duties at various stages of construction including alterations, additions, repairs and photovoltaic installations. The Contractor shall ascertain the conformance of construction with the current applicable codes in force in the City of Arvada. The Contractor shall provide personnel able to perform structural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical building inspections with a high degree of confidence and competence, with little or no supervision.
