Utility 14-14 - Water Treatment Chemicals

Summary of Specifications:
This bid is for water treatment chemicals to be supplied for a period of one year, beginning January 1, 2015. • Up to an additional three (3) one-year renewals for each contract may be entered into at the discretion of the City of Arvada. • Quantities listed are only approximations and does not in any way bind the City of Arvada to purchase these amounts during the contract period. Quantities are based on budgetary restrictions and the actual need for each chemical in water treatment operations. • Delivery of chemicals will be made within five (5) business days of order placement. • Delivery will be accepted between 7:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. A notice of pending delivery is required 24 hours before delivery. • All chemicals will be delivered via bulk method to meet the plant’s storage facilities. Individual bags are not acceptable for these items. • In the event the supplier is unable to supply the award chemical, the City of Arvada reserves the right to purchase supplies from the best source available.
