RFP-2016-016 - Aspen Ice Garden Mechanical Improvements

Summary of Specifications:
The project will include design, retro-fit and upgrades to existing mechanical systems which includes: HVAC part 1 systems serving locker rooms #2 & #3; HVAC part 2 system non-existent but needed to heat and ventilate locker room #1 to ASHRAE Standards; Part 3 system serving portions of the west end of the building including locker room #4; Part 4 HVAC system serving portions of the west end of the building including the upper offices and the lower skate shop area; Part 5 (option), replace 90 gallon electric hot water heater serving locker rooms 1, 2, 3 with a high efficiency condensing water heater, or an indirect fired hot water heater; Part 6 replace small hot water heater serving the lobby bathrooms, locker room 4, and the offices with a high efficiency condensing water heater, or an indirect fired hot water heater; Part 7 (option), a new system is desired to provide heat and ventilation to the ice arena for special events and shall include a duct sock for distribution of 14,500 cfm of conditioned air capable of distributing 350,000 BTU/H heat.
