Scope of Work
The City of Aspen Water department seeks qualified bids for services to remove/dewater approximately 200 cubic yards of sludge from the City of Aspen’s Water Treatment Plant backwash impound pond. Services include sludge sampling that meets Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements including obtaining permits and/or all necessary approvals prior to removal. De-watering on site is required and anarea for dewatering is being developed.

Sludge removal start work shall begin no later than September 15, 2017 and must be completed by October 31, 2017, or as agreed to by the City of Aspen to achieve a best practice approach to minimize environmental impacts”.
