RFQ-2013-114 - Water Plant Soft Trail Cross-Section Design

Summary of Specifications:
This project will utilize professional geotechnical engineering services to develop an adequate new road construction cross-section for the soft trail and secondary access to the City of Aspen Water Treatment Plant Site. This project’s scope will include sampling and testing existing roadway and possibly sub-soil materials to design a new cross-section to better support the expected loads for this soft trail. Complete design resulting in a final design report will be provided. This design will be used to re-construct a portion of this soft trail to produce a more stable driving surface and improve drainage, while maintaining the mountain trail feel of the walking route.
