Job Description. The project includes, but is not limited to the supply and installation of the following:
• Earthwork
• Site Preparation
• Protection of Existing Trees
• Erosion & Sedimentation Control
• Lighting & Electrical
• Pedestrian Paving, Curbing, Footings, Ramps
• Play Equipment & Play Surfacing
• Site Furnishings
• Trees, Sod, Native Seed and Soil Preparation
• Irrigation

This project involves the renovation of Kingsborough Park playground. Improvements include: new playground with accessible surfacing, new equipment for 2 to 12 year old children, new shelter,
new concrete ADA walkways to park amenities, new site furnishings and irrigation improvements.

Award Funding: This project is being supported, in whole or in part by funds from a federal award by the US Department of Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and must therefore follow all
applicable Federal, State and local regulations or restrictions.

This solicitation and the resulting contract shall be in accordance with Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, 2 C.F.R. Part 200.

The successful Contractor must be registered on the SAM.gov website and will be required to provide their Unique Entity ID number to the City prior to award.

Davis Bacon requirements do not apply to this award.

Work not specifically called for, but which must be accomplished to construct the work required under this contract, shall be considered as a part of this contract, whether or not specifically
detailed.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Each bid response shall be submitted on the prescribed forms supplied in the Project Manual.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the
Bid. Original bid bonds do not have to be mailed; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time.

Bids shall be submitted electronically, preferably in a single file PDF format, through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (aka BidNet) and must be received no later than 2:00 p.m.
(Mountain Time) on November 12, 2024. Bids received using another method such as mail, email, or hand delivery will not be accepted. Late bids will NOT be accepted. Bids shall be retained
by the City and cannot be returned.

Bids will be read aloud thirty (30) minutes after the bid closing. This event will be held online using Microsoft Teams. Interested parties may join the event using the link provided in the attached Project Manual, page 5 section Bid Submission and Opening.
