The City of Boulder is preparing a solicitation to secure technical support for analyzing climate resilience and desertification risk for lands in Boulder County. The City is looking for vendors that are qualified to create a methodology and associated web-based tool to be used by land managers, policy makers, and other decision makers to assess the vulnerability of lands to degradation and extreme drying (also known as “desertification.”) In a second phase of this effort, the methodology and tool would be used in a pilot incentive program to promote regenerative land management activities. This verification system for a management incentives program is not included in the scope of work for this phase. Successful completion of the project could incorporate and require different vendor skillsets. In your response to the RFQ, please clearly indicate if your organization would be qualified to complete the entire project, a portion of the project, or intend to subcontract a segment of the project. Please identify the area(s) that match your qualifications and provide qualification information for that segment of the project in your RFQ response. If a portion is expected to be subcontracted, please identify the work to be subcontracted and include the qualifications of your subcontractor as outlined in the RFQ.
