The City of Brighton is requesting bids for the improvements to the Barn and the Construction of a Carriage House at the Bromley/Hishinuma Farm, 1594 Bromley Lane, Brighton, Colorado. The site is on the National Register of Historic Places. All work on the site must adhere to the requirements of History Colorado.
The Bromley/Hishinuma Farm Barn/Carriage House project will include the rehabilitation of the interior of the barn and shall include, but not limited to, new concrete floors, new electrical wiring and light fixtures, a water line and sink in the barn, and improvements to the barn façade
The Carriage House is a 500 sq ft, two car garage to be constructed adjacent to and south of the barn to include wood framing, shingle roof, a concrete foundation and floor, electrical service, and doors and windows.
The Contractor, being familiar with all of the requirements of this Contract, shall furnish all labor, material, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, services and all other things necessary for the completion of the Project in accordance with the requirements and intent of the Contract Documents within the time of completion as set forth herein, and in strict compliance with the plans completed by alm2s, dated 3/8/2019, attached hereto.
The Contractor shall obtain all permits required to perform the work prior to the start of construction.
