RFP-10-057 - Engineering Design Services Water Augmentation Pipeline - Phase 2

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Brighton is accepting proposals for design and preparation of construction plans and specifications for the extension of the high pressure Water Augmentation Pipeline which involves the following criteria:  A. Provide plans and specifications for : 1) Extension of the PVC pressure pipeline starting at the existing 12” PVC pipe at Buckley Rd. to the 24” PVC return flow pipeline from the Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant. The alignment of the pressure line from Brighton Lateral Ditch to the 24” PVC pipeline will continue through the Prairie Center development. Final grading in this area of Prairie Center has not been established. 2) Extension of the PVC pressure pipeline under Old Brighton Rd., Highway 85 and the Union Pacific Railroad. 3) Extension of the 24” PVC pipeline from Barr Lake to the Beebe Draw basin. 4) Pump station at Ken Mitchell Lake that includes a pump for irrigating Ken Mitchell Park facilities, and any other pumping facility necessary for the movement of water. 5) Specifications will be in Construction Specification Institute format.
