The City of Brighton Community Development Department’s Building Division currently uses a module attached to ERP software to process, maintain and schedule permitting, plan review, inspection, scheduling and contractor licensing. This software no longer meets the needs or capabilities that are required for efficient operations and customer service. The intent of this solicitation is to enable the City to acquire the most appropriate, financially attractive solution from a qualified contractor. The general capabilities of the software need to replace the functionality of the current system in place, and possibly offer expansion or integration of services not used at present. At a baseline level, the City of Brighton desires a customizable software solution that will support automation of all necessary functions related to permitting, inspection and contractor licensing processes. This should also bring a customer friendly online access that allows for permit application, inspection scheduling, payment, permit and inspection tracking.
