Summary of Specifications:
This project is funded through federal Community Development Block Grant Funds. All work completed on the project will be performed in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and Federal Labor Standards Provisions (HUD Form 4010). All work completed on the project will be performed in compliance with the latest regulations and standards for The Americans with Disabilities Act.
The work to be performed under this contract includes all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials as necessary for the removal and replacement of noncompliant handicap ramps with ADA compliant handicap ramps. Ramps will be adjusted in the field to meet existing conditions and maintain ADA compliancy, as stated in federal and state requirements, and this invitation to bid. The work is listed by address in Exhibit A. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with the City, HOAs and Metro Districts, as applicable.
The concrete flatwork repair locations are found in Exhibit A. Exhibit A represents CDBG funds for 2014.
The concrete flatwork repairs in Exhibit A must be completed by October 16, 2015 and the invoice must be received no later than October 23, 2015. The City may terminate any contract without liability at any time before the issuance of a notice to proceed if, in the City’s determination, the work cannot be completed within these time periods.
