The City of Commerce City; Parks, Recreation and Golf, Parks Maintenance Division is seeking a qualified contractor to perform routine programmed right of way maintenance across our irrigated right of way in Commerce City. The successful contractor will begin by reading the attached Request for Proposals, which outlines the City’s procurement policy. The successful contractor will then carefully read Exhibit A, which is a detailed Scope of Service for the Right of Way Maintenance Contract. Exhibit B is a detailed Agronomic Calendar outlining what services are required and how often they are required. Exhibit C is a detailed bid sheet. This sheet must be filled out properly. The Division not only wants to know how much it will cost to perform the programmed services, but the Division also wants tasks priced a la carte so that the Division can quickly order additional services or modify the programmed maintenance schedule without requesting bids each time. Exhibit D is a detailed breakdown of every single section of the Right of Way service area. In general the service area is broken up into two large sections, the Prairie Gateway Service area with is made up of 18.754. Those 18.54 acres are further subdivided into 4.443 acres of turf grass, 8.53 acres of landscaping and 5.781 acres of native grass. The 104th Medians Service area is made up of 11.15 acres that are made up of .378 turf acres and 10.772 acres of landscaping.
