This in-river maintenance project of the Animas River generally includes providing fill and bank stabilization on river right, in-stream maintenance of boulder structures, and resetting large boulders to specific lines and grades at the City of Durango’s 29th Street river access. The project also includes transporting Contractor supplied boulders and materials to the work zone, protection of existing facilities including the paved multi-use trail, bike path detour and park area closure, traffic control, erosion and pollution controls, project site restoration and cleanup upon completion of improvements.

Event Note

There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference at 1:00 p.m. (Local Time) on February 16, 2021 to familiarize bidders with the project. Meeting location is at the Project Site, River Access at corner of East 3rd Avenue and East 29th Street, Durango, Colorado 81301.

In response to the COVID pandemic, all attendees at the mandatory pre-bid shall be required to adhere State and Local guidelines, to include wearing a face mask and practicing social distancing.
