The City of Durango is requesting responses to this Request for Information (RFI) from firms and qualified individuals that have experience in providing Electronic Citations for the City of Durango Police Department.

The Durango Police Department wants to implement an electronic citation program that provides for equipment, secure server space, record keeping software, support, installation, and on-site training. The Department wants to reduce the amount of time needed in the field to complete citations and resolve redundant data entry issues between our Records Management System and handwritten citations. The Department is looking for a system that will streamline data entry, utilizing existing data platforms to reduce data errors that occur in the field. The department wants to be able to print citations in different languages, with Spanish being absolutely necessary to award the contract.

Proposals shall be filed electronically via: www.bidnetdirect.com/colorado prior to the date and time specified above as a single pdf file in your firm’s name. Late proposals will not be accepted. Proposals shall not exceed twenty (20) pages in maximum length.
B.        The City of Durango reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
C.        Retain one copy for your records.
D.        The City of Durango is exempt from all local, state, and federal taxes.
E.         The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any informalities
or irregularities therein, and to accept the proposal that, in the opinion of the City, is in the best interest of the City of Durango.
