Summary of Specifications:
The City of Englewood has converted to an ITRON (ARM) Automated Meter Reading system. All registers/ERT or equivalents will be compatible with the ITRON ARM SYSTEM. Badger Water Meters and Sensus Water Meters are currently approved for use in the Englewood water system. Invitation to Bid offering "equal" products will be considered if the bidder clearly identifies such products with brand name, part number and any technical data, brochures or other information, so that the City can make a technical evaluation to determine that the products are equal. Manufactures wishing to have their meter approved by the City of Englewood must submit sample meters. Meters and the electronics submitted will be life field tested for a minimum of 5 years before acceptance.
