RFP-06-123 - Emergency Water/Sewage Backup Remediation

Summary of Specifications:
Periodically, the City experiences sewer system blockages that result in sewage backing up in residences or businesses. As a service to its customers, the City provides emergency remediation services. In these cases, a private cleaning company is contacted to perform certain, predetermined services. The cleaning company must be able to respond within 4 hours of notification to an emergency situation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The cleaning company must be able to received calls at any hour of the day or night.
