The City of Englewood Public Works Department is currently seeking proposals from qualified commercial carpet installers (“Contractor”) to remove and replace the carpet and cove base for the Englewood Public Library, located on the first floor of the Englewood Civic Center at 1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, CO 80110. The goal of this proposal is for the successful qualified Contractor to demo the existing carpeting; and to furnish, install and provide Milliken, or approved equal, manufactured carpet squares, cove base and ancillary materials needed to provide a complete project.

A pre-proposal / site visit (site walk-through) is scheduled for November 30, 2021 at 2:00 am MST. Potential contractors / vendors are to meet for a Q&A (Questions & Answers) session, at the Library Conference Room (Anderson Room), located on the 1st Floor of the Civic Center. A guided tour of the Library will be provided after the pre-proposal Q&A session.

The City of Englewood will receive sealed proposals for supplying “Library Carpet Replacement" as per the attached specifications no later than 2:00 PM MST December 21, 2021. Proposals will be received at the office of the Purchasing Division, 1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, Colorado 80110-1407. Bidders are asked to mark the bid envelope “Library Carpet Replacement” in the lower left-hand corner with the Proposal # RFP-21-044 shown on the front of the envelope in which the proposal is submitted. The City of Englewood assumes no responsibility for unmarked envelopes being considered for the award. An authorized company representative is required to sign in ink on the proposal. If City offices are closed due to inclement weather, an amendment will be issued with a new date, time and address of the proposal opening.
