Summary of Specifications:
The City of Englewood’s objective is to hire a qualified and competent Contractor to provide all necessary demolition and removal of existing equipment and material, design and construction of new equipment including any installation devices, power supply, disconnects, control network extension, sensors, controllers, as well as bypass pumping as needed, installation of new equipment, repair of existing equipment, and testing and commissioning of new and repaired equipment. The Littleton/Englewood Wastewater Treatment Plant (LEWWTP) operates uninterrupted. All work for this project must be performed in such manner as to not interrupt the continuous operation of the plant.
This Plant “Maintenance Repairs 2015 Project” entails repairs, replacements and new installation tasks as follows: • Guardrail and Handrail Repairs and Replacements • New Installations of Walkway and Railing • Installation of New Ladders and Ladder Replacements • Daft Dome Modifications • Relocation of Air Handling Unit (AHU) from Grit Pump Room • Installation of Access Gates to Solids Contact Tanks (SCT) • Nitrifying Trickling Filter Service Building (NTF SB) and NTF Pump Station (NTF PS) Access Stair Replacement • Headworks (HW) Upper Floor Drain Installations • Modification or Replacement of Monorail above Grit Snail Equipment, Crane-01-510 • Installation of a Monorail Above Eutek Grit Removers
