The City of Englewood (City) is requesting engineering services to complete the design of new water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer to replace & upgrade the existing lines along Old Hampden Avenue from approximately Broadway to Clarkson Street. It is anticipated that a new storm sewer outlet to Little Dry Creek, from the intersection of Old Hampden Avenue & Logan Street will also be designed. The project will also include engineering and design services to prepare preliminary plans and renderings of a proposed “complete streets” street section along Old Hampden Avenue from Broadway to Clarkson Street. Collectively, these projects are referred to as the Old Hampden Utilities Improvement Project.

The City of Englewood will receive sealed proposals for supplying Engineering Design Services for the Old Hampden Utilities Improvement Project as per the attached specifications no later than 2:00 PM prevailing time, on November 2, 2021. Proposals will be received at the office of the Purchasing Division, 1000 Englewood Parkway, Englewood, Colorado 80110-1407.

Bidders are asked to mark the bid envelope “Old Hampden Utilities Improvement Project" in the lower left hand corner with the Proposal # RFP 21-051 shown on the front of the envelope in which the proposal is submitted. The City of Englewood assumes no responsibility for unmarked envelopes being considered for the award. An authorized company representative is required to sign in ink on the proposal. If City offices are closed due to inclement weather, an amendment will be issued with a new date, time and address of the proposal opening.
