Summary of Specifications:
This Plant Gate Replacement and Repairs Project entails the replacement and repairs of existing plant gates. The existing gates are slide gates of various manufacturing date, installation date, and materials. The majority of the gates are manually operated, with the exception of two plant influent gates which are hydraulically operated and which will be converted to electrical motor operated gates. The two plant influent gates currently are not remotely controlled but will receive the remote control functionality (SCADA). This Plant Gate Replacement and Repairs Project includes all necessary demolition and removal of existing equipment, design of new equipment including any installation devices, power supply, disconnects, control network extension, sensors, controllers, as well as bypass pumping as needed, installation of new equipment, repair of existing equipment, and testing and commissioning of new and repaired equipment.
