The Unified Development Code Update (Update) shall reflect Englewood Forward goals and objectives which provide guidance for future planning and decision-making in Englewood based upon each of the six plan elements – Live, Work, Move, Shop, Learn, and Play. The statements reflect the community’s aspirations for the future, capital project plans, targeted economic development proposals, and redevelopment proposals that will be reviewed in relation to these goals and objectives. Not only will the Update include a general modernization of the UDC to provide clarity, improve overall functionality, and achieve greater sensitivity to the character of the City and its neighborhoods.
