RFP-L15-03-054 - 8th Avenue Survey

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Greeley is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive reconnaissance historic resource survey of the 8th Avenue corridor between 10th and 16th Streets. Eighth Avenue is Highway 85, which was and is a significant transportation route from Denver to Wyoming, contributing significantly to Greeley’s growth and development. The area has not been documented and a survey will provide historical and architectural documentation of the area with determinations of eligibility and provide information valuable for planning and redevelopment efforts. The comprehensive reconnaissance historic resource survey will provide basic information on 90% of properties in the survey area and identify properties that are potentially significant and worthy of further study. The survey will also provide intensive level documentation of 10% of the properties in the survey area, likely identified in the reconnaissance survey portion of the project. No properties will be surveyed at both levels.
