F22-01-013 - ENGINEERING/DESIGN SERVICES FOR 83rd AVENUE NON-POTABLE WATER TRANSMISSION LINE

The City of Greeley owns and operates a non-potable water system consisting of a network of buried pipes and open ditches to supply water for irrigation purposes only. This system reduces the amount of potable water used from the Greeley potable water system by using non-potable water for irrigation of both private and public property including, but not limited to, municipal parks, schools, golf courses, green belts and similar uses. Through this system, the City is currently able to serve over 100 customers. The goal of the City is to expand the non-potable water system and reduce the use of potable water for irrigation purposes and improve irrigation practices, which is key to the City’s long-term water conservation plan.
