The Greeley Fire Department is looking for qualified vendors to provide GFD and 2 other fire departments with a Rope Rescue Technician Course.
All Quotes must be Submitted to Purchasing@greeleygov.com by August 12th, 3pm.
The Course must align with the Current NFPA 1006 and 1670 Standards. The comprehensive training program should encompass NFPA 1006 Chapter 5, Operations and Technician-Level Skills, Focusing on High-Angle Rescue Techniques essential for Fire Departments over a duration of 30 hours. The City is looking to hire instructors for a one-time 3-day class with 17 participants. The City’s preferred dates are October 14th through October 16th. The course should take place within Greeley, Colorado and should have no online training portion.
Participants will engage in practical applications of the skills through scenarios based on real-life rescue situations. The host agency will facilitate the necessary locations around Greeley, CO, while the Greeley Fire Department will provide all required rescue equipment for the skills covered in the program.
