422008 - Compensation Study

The City of Longmont is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a comprehensive compensation study on our non-unionized positions within the city. Additionally, we are seeking a thorough review of our current pay plan including recommendations for change or improvements. The City of Longmont’s goal is to provide a compensation system that facilitates recruitment and promotes the retention of staff. A critical piece in meeting this goal is having a job classification and compensation system that addresses both internal equity and external competitiveness with the relevant market. The compensation and classification system should be easy to understand and communicate to employees and leaders.
